Clock Tower

2017 Open weekends
The Clock Tower opens on Good Friday, 14th April, and will be open every weekend until 1st October 2017. Seven exhibition panels will be on display over the summer months in the Clock Tower describing life on the home front in St Albans during World War 1. These will remain in the Clock Tower over the summer. Click here to download the list of open days.

10.30am – 5.00pm
Last admission 4.45pm

Open days are staffed by this Society and the St Albans Civic Society. It is not a complicated task and volunteers willing to serve once or twice a year are always needed. Please contact the Clock Tower co-ordinator if you can help.

A paper by F G Kitton on the origin and history of the Clock Tower is reproduced in the Transactions of the SAHAAS, 1901–02.
