A series of First World War lectures is being run under the aegis of the Herts at War project team. This is the programme:

15th March 2017 - Meeting the Enemy - Richard Van Emden

19th April 2017 - Air War over Arras - Peter Hart

17th May 2017 - Fields of Battle: Lands of Peace - Mike St Maur Sheil

21st June 2017 - Gallipoli and the Western Front compared - Professor Gary Sheffield

19th July 2017 - 3rd Battle of Ypres - Gordon Corrigan

16th August 2017 - The Hertfordshire Regiment in 1917 - Dan Hill

Most of the lectures will be held at the University of Hertfordshire's campus at Hatfield. However, please confirm the venue and also joining instructions by downloading this document.
